Catering Policies

The following information will help you in planning a successful event:

1. In order to maintain competitive prices, your event will be served BUFFET Style. Sit-down service is available at an extra charge of $5.00 per person. For sit-down service, however, proper kitchen facilities and hall space must be available at the location of the event.

2. The date of your event should be booked as far in advance as possible. A $150.00 deposit is required to secure your date.

3. The attendance must be specified definitely, at least by Tuesday of the week prior to your event. The number will be considered as a guarantee. S & S Catering will provide 5% over and above your guaranteed number. Please indicate the number of adults and the number of children separately when you call in your attendance.

4. Children age 5-11 are considered half an adult. Children 12 and over are considered adult. Children under age 5 should not be counted.

5. Styrofoam plates, plastic utensils, paper napkins, and tablecloths for the buffet table are provided at no charge. China, silverware and fabric tablecloths, napkins and skirting are available at an extra charge.

6. S & S Catering does not have a liquor license. Therefore, any alcoholic beverages must be provided by you. S & S Catering does not assume the responsibility for serving alcoholic beverages.

7. In addition to the prices shown on the menu, there is a 6% Sales Tax and a 18% set-up charge added to all bills. Prices are subject to change without notice. Payment in full is due on the date of the event.

8. Tents are available for outside events. A 10 x 10 tent for outside events is provided to cover the serving area at no extra charge.

9. We specialize in barbecues. We have a 4' x 6' commercial Holland Grill to accommodate any size event. We can set up and prepare your meal on site at your home, a park, or any location of your choosing. Our services are completely portable and we strive to meet all your special needs.
